MULTI AWARD-WINNING RADIO PERSONALITY 

Connor’s voice is instantly recognisable to listeners across the UK and Ireland. Having started his radio career working under the guidance of Radio One legend, Bruno Brooks at Immedia Broadcasting, Connor moved to work with Bauer Radio in 2005. Connor joined Cool FM / Downtown Radio in Belfast and went on to present “The Cool Breakfast Show” – achieving the highest figures in the station’s history. The show won “Radio Show of the Year′ (CIPR awards) as well as “TV / Radio Entertainment Show of the Year′. At Cool FM he also presented ‘The Cool Saturday Show’, Northern Ireland’s most listened to weekend radio show – earning Connor a nomination at the Sony Radio Awards.

Connor moved to England where he worked on some of the UK’s best known radio brands: Manchester’s Key 103 and Liverpool’s Radio City as well as working on their sister station - The Hits Network nationally across the UK. As well as taking the ‘Drive Time Presenter’ role on Radio Aire across Leeds, Connor began presenting one of the biggest commercial radio shows in the UK: ‘The Weekend Breakfast Show’ across England on the Bauer Network – simultaneously on Key 103 Manchester, Radio City Liverpool, Rock FM Preston, Hallam FM Sheffield, Radio Aire Leeds, Viking FM Hull, Metro Radio Newcastle and TFM Teeside. He went on to work on sister-station Radio City Talk –  The North of England’s only speech based commercial radio station hosting ‘Game On’ a Saturday afternoon ‘around-the-grounds’ Premier League goal show and then, ‘Full Time’ a Monday to Friday talk show from 3-7pm covering sport, politics, entertainment and breaking news.

Connor now finds himself working all across the BBC. he began as a regular presenter with BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Northampton, BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire (CWR) and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. This led to hosting one of Britain's biggest radio shows the Networked ‘BBC Local Evening Show’ -  simulcast on all 39 BBC Radio Stations across England and The Channel Islands.

Connor can now be heard on his daily radio show 'The Connor Phillips Show', from 10.30-12.00 midday on BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio Foyle and BBC Sounds. The Connor Phillips Show is the BIGGEST regional Entertainment Show on BBC Sounds as well as Northern Ireland’s ‘most listened to’ mid-morning radio show. As well as presenting his daily show - Connor can be heard across the UK on one of the UK’s biggest stations BBC Radio 5 Live and well as co-hosting BBC Radio 2’s Country 2 Country Festival on air across the UK and on stage to over 20,000 people.
